The convoy team must move the objective while staying together, using teamwork and strategy to outmaneuver the defenders. The defenders are given a limited number of paintballs and must use them strategically to eliminate members of the convoy team and capture the objective.

If the convoy team successfully delivers the objective to the finish point, they win the game. If all members of the convoy team are eliminated, the defenders win. If the objective is captured, the defenders win as well.

There are many variations of the Convoy mode, some have the convoy team that can respawn, or time limits. Some games have objective points where the convoy team can rest to recover and protect the objective, these points can serve as a respawn point for the team as well.

Convoy is a popular game mode in paintball because it requires teamwork, communication, and strategy to be successful. It also allows for a variety of tactics to be employed by both teams, making for an exciting and challenging game.
